Lovely bunch of guys who throw a cracking party
We LOVED having the Sonics at our wedding. In classic wedding style, the speeches were overrunning - but rather than start setting up they waited and started slightly later for us which was really flexible and appreciated. They played all the greats, the dancefloor was NEVER empty, and I genuinely thought they were just really lovely guys too. They did a fantastic rendition of 'Green Eyes' by Coldplay which they learned for our first dance - so so impressed and would HIGHLY recommend. Can we get married again and re-book them!? Amazing. -
Made my birthday one to remember!
‘The Sonics’ were absolutely amazing! Very talented entertainers! They definitely know how to bring a function Alive! All my guests commented on how absolutely brilliant the band were. They made my birthday the most memorable event ever. I really hope to see them again in the future. Really lovely polite guys too, great communication running up to the event. -
They were incredible.
The videos don’t do them justice, they were so much better in person. We left them to manage the selection of songs to suit the crowd, and they aced it. They had fantastic vocals and instrumental capabilities, they captivated the crowd and engaged really well. I have been to a number of weddings with bands, and the Sonics were leaps and bounds ahead of what others have booked. -
Great energy, great wedding band
The Sonics were brilliant. We were quite particular with wanting a great wedding band that would get people dancing all night, and the Sonics did just that. They were really accommodating, helping plan beforehand and adapting to time shifts on the day. We also had DJ sets from them in between live sets that were great. We went all the way to a 1am finish and had multiple guests dancing all night and complimenting us on how good they were. Would highly recommend. Tip, select Johnny B Goode in the repertoire, you won’t be disappointed. -
Amazing, amazing, amazing!!
These guys were brilliant at our wedding! They learned our first dance song which was beautiful and interacted with the crowd throughout the whole performance! It was great to meet them and get to know them! I couldn’t recommend them any higher if I tried! -
Amazing!!!
We absolutely loved The Sonics and so did our guests. The dance floor was full all night and we didn’t want them to finish! They played a real mix of songs but they were all great. We would 100% recommend them, couldn’t have been better! -
THE BEST WEDDING BAND EVER!
The Sonics were absolutely outstanding. Their communication leading up to our wedding day was amazing and they were so kind and accommodating on the day! Their music on the night was absolutely perfect - everyone (young and old) was dancing the whole evening (even when our generator went off halfway through the night, The Sonics managed to keep everyone entertained with some fantastic acapella renditions!) I distinctly remember one of our guests saying ‘booking this wedding band is the best decision you have ever made!’ We almost didn’t book live music for the day but we are so glad we did as it really changed the whole atmosphere of the evening, and The Sonics were faultless. Would highly, highly recommend! -
Awesome Band who appeal to all ages
Tom was extremely professional from start to finish and communicated well leading up to the event. We hired The Sonics for my daughters 21 st birthday party and we had a very mixed age group, but Tom and his band appealed to all ages. We were all having such a fab night, Tom and the band even agreed to play on a bit longer. I would have no hesitation in hiring The Sonics again they were fantastic. -

What can I say about The Sonics! They absolutely made our wedding. Everybody has asked me where I found them and is talking about how amazing they were. Toms voice is just…..well amazing! Toms communication was excellent leading up to the wedding and we’re happy to accommodate coming a bit earlier to avoid setting up whilst people were eating. Tom also sung our first dance which he absolutely smashed. Me and my husband spent most of the dance going omg omg omg! Don’t hesitate to book them. If you think their videos are good wait until you hear them live! Xxx -
The cherry on top of the perfect day!
We are so glad we chose The Sonics to be part of our special day. We love music (and dancing!) and so were nervous to find a band that could live up to our expectations. The Sonics did not disappoint!! They are a super talented group of musicians that really got involved with our guests. We received nothing but great feedback! Tom was great at keeping in touch leading up to the wedding, which really put my mind at ease! He was super accommodating, working with other suppliers and flexible with our song requests, making the process completely stress free. The Sonics were an amazing addition to our special day and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a talented, upbeat band! Thank you!
